Definition- It is pumped out of the ground by an oil pump, and it takes MILLIONS of years to form.

Advantages- The first advantage is that a lot of cars and trucks use it for the gas to run their car / truck. The second advantages is that you can make things out of it. For example some plastics.

Disadvantages- One of the disadvantages is that it causes pollution and it pollutes the air. 
The second disadvantage is that it smells REALLY bad!
