Solar energy is the energy received by Earth from the Sun in the form of radiation.

A advantage of solar energy is that it is a renewable resource, we need solar energy to survive. Without it the Earth would be very cold and dark.

Using solar panels is a good way of using solar energy. During the day they convert heat and light into homes.

Although there are advantages of solar energy, there are also disadvantages. For example, we do not know how to get rid of it. Also, it cannot be built anywhere. 

Solar panels are also very expensive.
